Day 149 Job 22-26

Day 149 Job 22-26

  1. Eliphaz gives the third speech and declares Job a rebel and a loser who must repent to the God, who is a vacuum without love. Job, a pioneer, not a rebel, again wants to take his plea directly to a new God, the new God who escapes definition. If only he could find Him! Although this God seems elusive, Job knows with certainty that God’s dealing with humankind is not logical. Old thinking is dead. Without answers, he still runs on faith. Now it is Bildad’s turn to argue out of his bad theology. Bildad accuses Job of sheer arrogance. His God is great. Man is nothing. His God is holy and unimpeachable. Hence Job has no reason to talk as he does. Which version of God is your God?
