This reading makes me want to be very careful about choosing words to speak. The Semites knew the power of words. Blessings and curses. Words really could hurt a person. Yet, Yahweh's will prevails over the prophetic word. And, it is refreshing that Yahweh will use a dumb ass when perhaps we humans are not paying attention. "Then the Lord removed the veil from Balaam's eyes". I wonder how many angels of the Lord I miss in one day.
