In these chapters Yahweh is still immanent "I will make my abode among you" "I will walk among you." It is a time of promise and threat. "If then their uncircumcised heart is humbled and they make amends for their iniquity then I will remember my covenant with Jacob." There is still the ideal of the year of jubilee when all is returned to its original owner. Verse 34 tell us these are the commandments which the Lord commanded Moses for the people of Israel on Mount Sinai.
