I noticed in this reading that we have an Isrealite woman's son whose father is an Egyptian. So, we have mixed marriages. We also see the eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth philosophy evole. I am reminded of the work of U2 in this year of jubulee where each property is returned to its original owner. We know that this was never practiced in the time that it was written. Yet, U2 in its incredible work in Africa made it a reality today.
