As I label these as barbaric people I have to ask myself how far have we come? I can remember playing cowboy and Indians and I recall the number of loved ones servicing in the military in Afghanistan and Iraq, a war zone today. Still now we are disputing boundaries and taking over land and expelling the inhabitants. In those days "when the people of Israel grew strong, they put the CDanaanites to forced labor, and did not utterly drive them out." The people of Israel set up worship at Shiloh, their main sanctuary.
