Day 323 Acts 20-23

Day 323 Acts 20-23

  1. Paul returns to Macedonia and Greece. From what Luke tells us no one could guess what was happening to Paul as he traveled about Macedonia and Greece. Trouble was brewing in Corinth. He was traveling from city to city to collect money for the less privileged Christians in Jerusalem. During the three months he spent in Corinth he wrote the Epistle to the Romans. Yet, Luke gives us a skeleton of geographical fact. It reminds me that outline maps never tell the whole story of a person’s life. I know all the important dates of my grandmothers’ lives but I know nothing of their fears, frustrations, sorrows, regrets. At times, the gospel writers reduce the story to “Jesus went from Galilee to Jerusalem” yet we know nothing about the drama of redemption.
