Peter heals in the name of Jesus and meets resistance from the priests and Sadducees which resulted in their arrest. What was it about Jesus, that, even after his death, that his mere teachings were so politically dangerous to the status quo? He must have been more than a healer. Was the danger in that He was a liberator? He set us free from inappropriate guilt, from despair, from fear itself. If no one can make us afraid, how will we live our life? And, how will the authorities in our life react if they cannot inflict guilt or fear?
