Day 244 Ezekiel 20-21

Day 244 Ezekiel 20-21

1 comment:

  1. Ezekiel gives us a sad account of a privileged nation which has forfeited its opportunity to fulfill the will of God. Divine discipline will restore the nation at last to its loyalty. Ezekiel teaches a merciful God, a forgiving God. He describes here the Sabbath as a sign between God and his people. Again he discusses the perversion of religion, the Canaanite cult. Although Ezekiel rejoices at the return to public worship he warns that it is valueless unless it is a genuine return to obedience to Yahweh. In chapter 21 Ezekiel points out that God turns even war, superstition, and revolution into praise of Him.
